SOPER BOARD OF EDUCATION
REGULAR BOARD MEETING

As required by Section 311, Title 25 of the Oklahoma Statutes, notice is hereby given that the Board of
Independent School District No. 4, Choctaw County, Oklahoma, will hold a Board meeting on Monday, April
22, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. at the Soper School old FCCLA Building, 821 Louis St., Soper, Oklahoma 74759.
AGENDA
NOTE: Soper Board of Education may discuss, make motions, vote to approve, vote to disapprove, vote to
table, or decide not to discuss any item on the agenda.
1. Call meeting to order and record those present and determine if a quorum is present.
2. Determine if the agenda was posted in due time and approve the March 2024 Soper Board Meeting
minutes.
3. Welcome Visitors and comments.
4. Superintendent’s report.
5. The board vote to approve/disapprove encumbrances and checks.
6. Principal’s Report

7. The board vote to approve/disapprove adjunct teachers.
8. The board vote to approve/disapprove update to the code of conduct policy for drug testing.
9. The board vote to approve/disapprove drug testing contract.
10. The board vote to approve/disapprove applications for temporary appropriations.
11. Board vote to approve/disapprove Kiamichi Technology Center math and science courses, KTC
transportation contract, and the Pre-employment Services Kiamichi Tech Pre-ETS Memorandum of
Understanding for the 2024-2025 school year.
12. The board vote to approve/disapprove of retirement bonus.
13. The board vote to approve/disapprove of Crossroads psychologist and counselor services contract.
14. The board vote to approve/disapprove using sick bank days for a Soper teacher.
15. The board vote to approve/disapprove contracts and agreements between Soper School and LIFT
Community Action Agency (head start).
16. The board vote to approve/disapprove 2024–2025 school calendar.
17. The board vote to approve/disapprove Community Facilities Grant Agreements and Resolutions with
USDA for Soper’s agriculture building remodel and fitness building construction projects.
18. The board vote to approve/disapprove student pronoun policy and procedures regarding student
pronouns.
19. Purchase request.
20. New Business.
